Zac left the High School Musical films in their Senior Year, the third film which was released in 2008.
However, fans were into overdrive recently when an apparent trailer for High School Musical 4 dropped online – it turned out to be a fake – although the series is returning with a new, younger set of high school wannabes.
Though they get along great both on and off screen, it looks like the two are just friends. Zac Efron manages to show range acting in everything from musicals to comedies to thrillers, like his upcoming turn as serial killer Ted Bundy in got along well with one another.
Efron has been incredibly complimentary to Zendaya about her skills and maturity on set.
