Valentines just started dating

Valentine’s Day is a very special occasion designed to celebrate love and totally, completely f*** with our heads.

If you’re single, Valentine’s Day is a sad, sad reminder that you’re alone. You have to get the perfect gift and arrange the most romantic possible night.

So I don't want to give her something that is counter-productive to that goal she has. She's looking for ROMANCE and something to make her feel special, something that shows you are interested (but not too sexual, it's too soon) and not just waiting to get her into bed. Had her over for late lunch/early dinner yesturday, cooked basil pesto stuffed pork chops for her.

or i might find another recipe tonight and have her over here.

So thanks all for the suggestions Alright, I'm 42, shes 37. We have been out 4 times, taking things very slowly, but we have talked about valentines day and she is expecting a gift.

‘But if you’re taking it slow and seeing how things go, then you might want to give a light-hearted nod towards Valentine’s Day – a jokingly cheesy card or a chocolate heart.’ Essentially, if you and the person you’re dating have been super mushy and romantic from the get-go, you’ll probably want to do something for Valentine’s Day.

If you’ve been keeping it casual, haven’t said the L word, and haven’t organised any romantic gestures, it’d be a bit weird to suddenly make a huge effort for Valentine’s Day.
